Thanks to you we reached our $3M campaign goal, and met our $10K challenge grant. With your support, HEART raised $60K, A big thank you to keynote speaker, Steve Westly, who spoke about investing in green buildings, lead sponsor Borel Private Bank & Trust Co., and to all of our presenters and participants.
HEART hosted a breakfast for forty supporters at the newly-opened Trestle Glen family apartments in Colma, next to the BART station. Guests got to meet a resident, Princess S. (second from right) who told the story of her family’s search for affordable housing once their son was born.
The Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) presented HEART with the 2009 Growing Smarter Together Award in the category of Public/Private Partnerships. Watch the video!
